Promising to Make Earth Green

The world environment day 5th June 2010 is being organized throughout the world by various organizations and individuals with a great zeal. Most of the topic during the celebrations would be for growing trees to green the earth. It is but natural the emphasis would be on the geological area where the sapling would be converted into a tree in near future to give us more oxygen. Can the process of generating more oxygen would be sufficient for our survival in this present environment? The whole natural environment comprises of everything which the people living on earth prior to "Industrialisation era", had witnessed and documented. Since then environment has got changed by the inventions made by the "Scientists" class of human beings. After realizing the adverse effects of those inventions on environment, the governments of the nations of the world are trying to deploy those techniques which can check these changes. Some of the scientists are busy in developing those devises which can check pollution (air or water) but most of the scientists are still engaged in inventing those devices which caused pollution in the air or water. The profitable game is being played by both set of scientists and is supplementing each other status and income. In between the Governments and the NGO's are busy in stressing the need of growing trees for inhaling carbon dioxide released by human beings or other creatures or released by some other processes. But what about other gases which are not consumed by Trees?Tree is a living thing. It has means for propagation. Their growing depends upon other constituents of environment. It has grown in such a numbers that their cluster is called as forests. The existence of human largely depends on trees. Their existence led to the existence of human beings.
Rivers were source of clean water which is essential for the survival of human beings and other living creatures. Man is polluting it for using it as drainage. Some others got business to de-pollute it. But the polluters are more than the de-polluters. We have polluted our rivers, streams, lakes and ponds. We have polluted the soil by filling it with other ingredients which can not called as compositors of soil. This process has led to non vegetation. We have played with the natural sustainable system of Environment and now pondering over the solutions which can never be achieved.
Man is probing life on Mars while continuously destroying it on Earth. What a tragedy!
